I’m about 50% from reaching 80. I’ve been in pretty much every regular dungeon. I’ve been in more Pugs than I care to admit. I take that back, I don’t mind pugs as long as the group is somewhat competent. Last night was a great example.
My Fiancee (Who is level 80 and a Paladin) que up and pull Halls of Stone. I’ve done HOS a few times, I am comfortable with the run. We start the instance and the Hunter in the group winds up pulling aggro off the tank. I politely ask for him to manage his aggro. He shoots back saying the tank, who happens to be my fiancee and a Paladin, didn’t use Death and Decay? Yes you read that right. So I’m like, Death and Decay is a Death Knight ability(yes our group had a DK in it, but he was DPS) He’s like oh my bad. Our next pull, he goes and starts attacking what isn’t marked. Starts going down fast. I keep him up as best as I can while keeping up the tank and others who are fighting the marked enemy. He then yells, Why don’t use use Divine Storm. Um…This guy obviously is one of those guys that knows enough to make himself dangerous.
Well after him being kicked from the party, we pulled in a nice little warlock and we had a nice run. Even joking among ourselves about the Mage using Misdirect, the Warlock using Tricks of the Trade and a DK that would pop into cat form. It’s runs like that run last night that makes me enjoy the game. We all started out with a bad experience and turned it around and had fun with it.

Still plugging along leveling my Paladin and my poor Rogue is just sitting there only getting logged into to more or less gather herbs for mana potions, burning a Transmute or opening a lock box for a guildie.
I’ve got Poochieboy to level 75 and I’ve been healing the heck out of Dungeons. Clearing Many. I’m loving that the fiancee has a Paladin tank and we’ve pretty much running dungeons together. She’s a couple of level higher than I am, but she plays a little more during the day.
I’m thinking of dropping Ret and picking up Prot so I’m dual specced Prot/Holy but right now I don’t see myself tanking anything as my fiancee is running as a tank and doing a great job.
Well look for more blogging to be done int he future. Mostly about my Paladin I think.

Ok, I’m new to the healing thing and I always looked to healers as the driving force behind keeping the instance alive. Yes the Tank is important, but I think the healer is just as important if not more so. I always treated the tank with respect and made sure to head to their aid if a mob bypassed the tank and went to the healer.
That being said, my first PUG healing situation rubbed me the wrong way. I LFG and got put into a PUG for Ramparts. Not a big deal, I had done Ramps as DPS before, even ran through DPS on my Paladin in Ret spec, so I sort of know the instance.
The first problem I ran into was a Hunter screaming at me for not putting on Blessing of Kings, I gave him Blessing of Might. Opps, my bad. Could have handled it a little better and asked instead of screaming at me asking me if I ever played the game before. Etc. (I’ve since downloaded Pally Power to help with my blessings)
The next problem was the big problem. DPS and a Tank that didn’t understand that the healer needed to have mana and they would just pull tons of mobs and yell that I wasn’t keeping then healed fast enough. Now granted I wasn’t geared greatly, still had some lower 50 gear in my holy spec. These guys didn’t have much better gear and expectted me to keep them alive while pulling more than they could handle. Well I kept up for the most part until they decided to go and pull a mob while I was at 0 Mana. I sat down and drank some mana potion and watched as they died. I then popped my bubble and ran out of the instance, thus leaving group.

My Fiancee and myself have been leveling our Paladins quick. She has reached 64 and I have hit 60. Poochieboy is dual specced as Retribution and Holy and Doodlebutt(My Fiancee’s Paladin) is Dual Specced Protection/Holy.
Once I hit 58, I jumped to Outlands and started questing there. I’ve got some very nice upgrades to my Holy gear, but I’m having a hard time finding upgrades to my Retribution gear. I usually only run in Holy when I’m running a dungeon and I have yet to take the Ramps/Blood Furnance plunge, but that will probably change soon.

My Fiancée and myself have been playing WOW for about a year now. I have been playing on and off for longer. I have a level 80 Blood Elf Rogue, She has a level 80 Blood Elf Hunter. The guild we are currently in ( 2 of the founding members) just isn’t raid ready. We are in desperate need of two things, Healers and Tanks. We have talked about really rolling two toons together and playing them from 1-80 together. She got a late start to World of Warcraft but was able to get her Hunter to 80 way before I got my Rogue on this Server up to 80.
Now we are playing two Paladin’s together. My Paladin is named Poochieboy (After her 3 year old son) and he’s leveling at the moment as Retribution. She’s made it to 30 and I’m nipping at her heals at 28.
We wanted something that would help round out the guild when we finally got these toons to 80. We figure we will both spec end game Tank/Heals. That way we always have a Tank and a healer if we need it. So now I’m spending a majority of my time on my Paladin and not so much on my Rogue.

Howdy all. Been a while since I updated and the reason for that is I’ve been in the process of moving among other things and haven’t really played since before patch 3.3. I haven’t experienced any new content and I’ve logged in for a total of maybe 2 hours in that time. After the holiday I hope to get back in the swing of things. I will be playing my Rogue but will also be working on a Shaman too.
I’ve heard great things about the new LFG feature and I’m really looking forward to seeing how that works…

It’s been awhile, I hope to be able to update more often.
Last time I wrote about this all great guild I was apart of. The guild was called Dirty Dozen on the Tichondrius Server. Well as you can see by the past tense comments, I am out of the guild. The sad thing is I was kicked out because I disagreed with something the guild master did. (That being inviting me to Onyxia, pulling me to the instance and then booting me out when his friend got on, and the previous time we did Onyxia I was second in DPS. I wasn’t mad that I was bumped by a guildie. I was mad that I was summoned all that way, and then booted for his friend who wouldn’t do as much DPS as I)
Well that being said, My wife and I decided to start our own guild, Pestilence. She built the guild up fast and we’re just waiting on a few healers to hit 80 so we can do some Naxx runs and more.
I had to changeWe had to change our names due to a couple of our OLD guild members (Not Dirty Dozen, but our original guild) harrassing us in game. So we both have new toon names. Which sucks, but had to be done. Shame some people can’t deal with the fact that this is a game.

Sorry for the slow updates,as you can see the transition from blogspot to wordpress has been slow, but it has been slow for good reason.
I have finally found a guild that is doing content that I can come along on. No more pug Naxx, Pug that. I’ve got some nice upgrades the last few nights. I’ve cleared Naxx 10, OS 10 (2x) and actually went to Onyxia 10 last night.
While we didn’t take Onyxia down, I am finally getting to see some of the raiding content. I was 2nd in DPS last night which is a huge upgrade. Now I just need to learn how to keep myself alive
